Most people living with obesity cannot achieve and maintain significant weight loss with lifestyle changes alone. In fact, studies show that only about 2% of people succeed long-term this way - but bariatric surgery helps 80% maintain weight loss and health improvements.
Obesity increases the risk of over 200 serious health conditions, including heart disease, diabetes, infertility, sleep apnea, and even some cancers. But there is hope. Bariatric surgery and medical treatments offer proven, life-saving solutions. The Obesity Community Fund exists to help you access them.
